Pastors Greg and Denease Mallett were high school sweethearts and have been married for over 25 years.  They grew up in and around Fayetteville, Georgia and they currently reside in Fayetteville.  They have a son named Parker who is nine years old and a daughter named Emily who is three years old.  Parker and Emily are both involved in extracurricular activities in the community such as soccer, baseball and Karate.  Currently, Pastor Greg is a contractor and has his own business and Pastor Denease is a legal assistant for a law firm in Buckhead, Georgia.

Both Greg and Denease were brought up actively involved in church and knew God had destined them to operate in the ministry.  During the first 11 years of their marriage, they were committed and operated in ministry at Living Praise Tabernacle in Fayetteville, Georgia.  In preparation for the ministry, they enhanced their knowledge through Living Praise School of the Bible.  Pastor Greg was ordained in 1987 through Living Praise Tabernacle.  In March of 1995, they became a part of New Beginnings Family Center also known as Christian City Church South in Peachtree City, Georgia.  Pastor Greg was ordained through this ministry in 1998 and Pastor Denease in 2003.

In their years of experience in ministry, they have worked with children, youth, singles, and young married couples, and have been involved in all areas of church administration.  Pastor Greg was a youth pastor for many years and enjoyed seeing the youth go forward in God’s Word.  He enjoys playing the drums, singing and laughing.  He has a true shepherd’s heart and is anointed to preach God’s word.  His manner of preaching and teaching is practical and humorous and he loves people and desires to see God change their lives.  Outside of the ministry, he enjoys spending time with family and friends and he enjoys hunting.  Pastor Denease has operated in the church through teaching, leadership and administration.  She loves seeing people full of joy and excited about what God is doing.  She enjoys spending time with family and friends and shopping.

In 2006, God laid it upon Pastor Greg’s heart to start a ministry.  They desire a strong connection and true fellowship within the community and they want Way of Life Community Church to be a light for anyone that needs it.  It is their vision that people find realness and genuineness and know that God loves them and that He desires to be their Way of Life.
